    Yes Kinetick supports VIX Futures. For Kinetick mapping will be @VX which is going to be included in the CBOE Futures Exchange.


    At a minimum, and for all instruments Kinetick offers:
    • 120 calendar days of historical Tick data (for building tick based charts, such as range and volume)
    • 2 years of historical Minute data
    • 10 years of historical Daily data
    For more commonly traded symbols it is likely that more extensive historical data will be available, as well.

        Hello again,

        im curious, i have exisiting Vision Feed, do u know if they offer VIX futures and what is the mapping for them in NT if they do?
        Also i see that there is some mini contract, would be interested if u know if that is available too.

          I will need to contact Vision Financial to verify if this instrument is supported and will follow up as soon as I gather additional information.

              It appears Vision Financial Markets does support the VIX Futures and additional information can be found at the link provided below.



              I am awaiting the required settings for this instrument. If your account is currently authorized for this instrument please input VX for Vision Financial within the Instrument Editor.

                    Did IB changed the mapping for the VIX futures instrument? Not sure what happened, but I am unable to get the charts working for some time now. I have all set up like in 2 pictures from the start of this thread but the charts are empty...

                      Mapping for the VIX Index for IB has not changed and should be set to VIX. Can you tell me if you receive real time data within the Orders tab and what interval chart you are loading. Also is this a Live or Demo account with IB?

                        This is live acc with IB and i am getting the quotes in TWS. Im trying with 15 min charts...

                          Are you receiving real time data within the NinjaTrader Orders tab when ^VIX is selected?

                          Also please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed which can be found under Help-->About and the version of TWS you have installed which can be checked under TWS -> Help -> About -> Scroll to the Build #.

                              With the current version of NinjaTrader, it is critical that you use TWS version 927.7. Please uninstall your existing version via the Windows Control Panel, and then install 927.7 via the following link:

                                Hm, my Advance Order Management is disabled, cant click on it from the drop down list. Any idea why? Should i contact IB?
