Auto Trader Disabled On Demo Account

I'm fairly new to using NinjaTrader. Last week I downloaded a brokers platform demo, pasted their license in NJ 7 and everything was connected and fine. I downloaded a free trial AutoTrader, installed it and enabled it with nothing happening.

I looked into the log and read the following, "Auto Trading Disabled" "Hot Keys" Disabled.

The developer couldn't help me and the broker support team couldn't help me.

Is this happening because it is a demo license and not a "Live" license?

Please advise.

Hello Jeff,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum.

It appears you are using a Direct Edition License Key. Direct Edition License Keys do not have access to features such as ATM strategies, NinjaScript Strategies, OCO orders, Chart Trader, and Hot Keys.

You can use our Free Simulation License Key to use all the features of NinjaTrader, but you will not be able to trade live with NinjaTrader.
You can enter your License Key by going to Help > License Key.

If you would like to use all the features of NinjaTrader and trade live you will need to purchase a Live License Key. You can view our purchase options at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/purchase
