NT charts not displaying

    NT charts not displaying

    Attempted to open NT, latest version/build, today, and the charts, including the "control" window, won't display.
    I know the program is open and running, confirmed in the Task Manager.
    I'm using latest version of Windows 7.
    NT was working yesterday, the last time I used it.
    If I have to reinstall, will I need my license #?
    If yes, how do I retrieve it?

    Can you please send your trace and log files to Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com so I can look into the issue for you?

    You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"
    You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

      Thanks for the response.

      I was able to retrieve my license#, so, I:
      1. Downloaded, from your website, the link to the latest build.
      2. Opened & viewed NT, successfully.
      3. Restored my latest backup.

      All is well.

      I'm still curious as to what could have caused the charts & control panel windows not to open.

      Any ideas?

        Hello Cabmanage,

        Great to hear you were able to get setup. Unfortunately I'm not sure what was causing the issue, but if it happens again in the future, send an email to support with your trace and log files and we will be happy to diagnose it for you.
