Removing strategies with multiple cross references

I imported a package written by someone else, and it consists of multiple user-defined-methods strategy files. Now I want to remove them but I can't. If I try to remove one of them, I get an error message "'xxxx.cs' can't be deleted. It is referenced by 'yyyy.cs'. Please remove this dependency before deleting the file.

Is there an easier way to do this than to individually comment out the contents of all 8 scripts and then delete them?

Thank you for your post.

You can remove the NinjaScript files manually if you wish.

• First shut down NinjaTrader and then go to the following directory on your PC: My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Indicator
• From here you can delete the .CS files that you do not wish to have.
• Once complete, restart NinjaTrader and then go to Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > select and indicator > OK > and then press F5 to compile all NinjaScript files once the NinjaScript Editor window opens.

Please let me know if you receive any errors after compiling.

Thanks that worked. I was about to try that myself but I wasn't sure if manually deleting the .cs files would damage anything.

Hello Alex,

You can run into items when you delete the .CS files with @ symbols in the name, these are NinjaTrader preloaded indicators and must not be deleted.
