Commisions doet not work. IB

Hi,
I'm using IB and Ninja trader. I entered the paramaters in Control Center - Options/commisions, inculding the min fee (1!)
I aslo acitvated the "Apply commissions to PnL calculations" in Control Center -Options/General
When i'm running backtest, the commissions are still 0.
Could you help me, please?

Welcome to the forum and I am happy to assist you.

While backtesting please make sure to set "Include commission" to True from the strategies parameters dialog.

If you are still having difficulties can you upload the screenshot of the commissions settings so that I can test it at my end.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Unfortunaltely the commissions parameter was set to ture.

Thanks for the screenshots.

Please append similar settings in the Stocks-Simulator too and then try backtesting your strategy.

• In Control Center menu bar goto Tools>Options>Commissions tab
• Set the appropriate commission rates in Stocks-Simulator

I now have commissions>0.
But as you can see, $38k for 3k trades seems to be huge compare to my settings..
Am i right?

Glad to know you are getting the values.

You have to append an appropriate value as per your need. Also in your strategy please make sure you are submitting the correct order quantity.
