IB for Orders, Kinetic for Data

Hi,

I am using Kinetic Realtime for Tick data and trying to router orders to Interactive Brokers.
I DON'T want to use IB market data, just their Order server.
In the Strategy page I have the correct IB Account specified and the Connection 'Kinetic Realtime' displaying.

However, no trades are reaching TWS.

Could you please advise,

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About

What version of TWS are you using? You can check under TWS -> Help -> About -> Scroll to the Build #

Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, please detail in your response.

Most recent version of TWS
No error message in log
can place orders via Orders tab but not through automated strategies.

if i set up the market data source as IB, it can send orders but for obvious reasons not about to use IB market data.


Have no idea whats going on.

Can you please install TWS 921 and check if the issue remains. Unfortunately we do not support the latest TWS version at this time. We support TWS 921 as per the IB connection guide below. It can be downloaded from the connection guide as well.
