Charts always stall for a second on filling with ATM

I am using your ATM for getting my entries on 1minute charts. Whenever price approaches a limit buy/sell set entry set with the ATM the candle sticks (for a split second, but it is very noticeable on CL Futures) just before entry, every time.. there seems to be some sort of delay/sticking point when going through the ATM entry point.

Is this normal?

Welcome to the forum and I am happy to assist you.

To save resource NinjaTrader refreshes the chart at certain interval (default is .5 seconds) instead at every tick. Thus if price moves very fast the chart may not get displayed though your trade will be executed.

You can change the display update interval from the chart properties dialog:

• Right click on the chart
• In the context menu click on Properties...
• In the properties dialog set an appropriate number for the field "Display update interval (sec)"

Please note the minimum number you can set is .1 seconds.

Not sure that´s the issue at all. When no orders are on the screen theres no issue at all, the only time it "sticks" is when a tick away from a ChartTrader entry point, then it sticks for a millisecond before going through the order... its like the chart is stuck, its very noticeable. Can´t be normal, never noticed it on ESignal or ThinkOrSwim.

I have changed the setting to 0.1 and it is still doing it.

I am trading in SIM. Maybe that makes a difference?
