Scale the chart on price bars only and NOT the ATM orders

    Hello,

I am trading from my chart and I have target orders that are well off the screen. The chart scales to fit all target and stop orders visible. Unfortunately, this makes the price action unreadable. Even when I try and resize the chart, it still is unusable.

Is there something I can turn off to make it not scale the chart based on the ATM strategy, but only the price (bars)?

    Thanks!

    Hello neoikon,

You can disable the Auto Scale feature for Chart Trader. The Auto Scale feature for Chart Trader will automatically adjust the scaling of the chart to display all open and pending orders.

You can disable this feature by right clicking on Chart Trader, selecting Chart Trader Properties, selecting Auto scale, setting to False and pressing OK.

If you then need to manually adjust the scaling of the chart you can do so by left clicking on the price axis and dragging your cursor up or down to compress/expand the scaling or hold the Ctrl key while left mouse clicking on the price axis and dragging your cursor up or down to move the price axis up or down without compressing or expanding it.

That is exactly what I was looking for!

Also, the thing about holding ctrl while moving price was something that I always felt was missing in NT. Super glad to find that too!

      Double thanks!
