    Thank you for your patience.

    I was able to connect to your CQG connection on my end.

    Please upgrade your current version of NinjaTrader to version 7.0.1000.10. This is an over the top installation and there is no need to uninstall your current version of NinjaTrader.

    Download NinjaTrader: http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php

    Please let me know if you are able to connect to CQG after upgrading NinjaTrader.

      Hi Patrick,

      I am also facing the same problem. Came back to office today to see that my connection was lost. Tried to log in again and this message appeared: "Login Failed: Unable to connect to the remote server."

      I restarted my pc but the same message pops up.

      I then installed the latest version of Ninjatrader (10) like you said. I'm still no able to log into my account.

      I am using CQG as well. My friend using the same connection is also facing the same problem.

      Internet is working fine. Using cable.

      Also, the program doesn't auto connect on start up even though the option box is checked.

      What should I do now?

        Could you please proceed as per post #14.

        Could it be you are using Optusnet as ISP? I received similar reports from Australian based customers that use this ISP. They are also unable to load certain web sites. There seem to be issues with this ISP that affect CQG connectivity.

              It seems to be my ISP, but I seriously have no idea what is going on.
              Some other websites also can not be reached like Forex Factory, Zimbio.
              Finally just now I got it to connect the CQG price feed, but it still will not connect to NT historical data server.
              So its still not really usable.
              Seems to be an ISP routing issue it can't find the server so it doesn't respond.

                Hello,

                You can try doing a trace route to the CQG servers to try and identify where the connection is being dropped or blocked:

                Click on start--> Accessories--> Command Prompt

                From the Command Prompt window type:

                tracert 208.48.16.130

                And then press enter. This will start tracing the hops between your computer and the CQG servers. If it completes, you should see it get to the CQG~Chicago.Level3.net servers.

                This will take a few moments to complete. Please let us know if the tracert completes to these servers, or it it times out on a hop before these servers. If it does, you can provide this information to your ISP to help determine if there is a DNS server down or under maintenance that is preventing you from connecting.

                    Not so unusual if both ISP are connecting you through a similar DNS route. Please let me know the results of the trace route and it should help explain what is occurring.

                      Its timing out after it hits singtel they are routing us through singapore someone is obviously working on it as ive gotten some intermittent connectivity with CQG just not NT historical data server.

                        hi there, i am from singapore. am on amp/cqg ... had problems accessing 5pm plus Singapore time from singnet/singtel.

                        i also have starhub and also same problem. CQG website unaccessible from either singtel or starhub.

                        however, M1 is ok as my phone has data plan from M1

                        looks like i need to subscribe to M1 fibre plan tomorrow ....

                        anyway, both starhub and singtel access to cqg is back on as I type now .. 9:15pm GMT+8 ...

                          do you mean the data is not recording?

                          I was able to connect to CQG all of a sudden (15 min ago). I did not do anything. It came on by itself. But If I restart ninja, the first print will be at the point of connection.

                          This historical data thing happened about 1 month ago. And it's happening all over again.

                          Also, my 'reload all historical data' option is disabled. Is that the same with you?

                          To Ninjatrader support:
                          What should I do to restore the 'reload all historical data' button?

                            I'm from Singapore too, on Singtel. Yup also from 5pm +. That's where my data stopped recording.
