Strategy Yellow

On the control ctr strategy tab my strategy is often highlighted in yellow, (I assume that means the strategy has crashed?) the log says "lost price connection but running anyway". My data is coming from IB with a Yahoo daily source as well. How can I make sure my strategy is running from the data feed I expect it to? If I disable the strategy it I can pick my contract but not my data connection -- as far as I can tell. But my data appears to be fine, it is showing on the chart I have up,

Thank you for your post.

When your strategy is showing as Yellow this indicate that this is a trade based off of historical data and no position will be taken until the next signal is generated based off of real time data. I have provided a link below that goes over Strategy Positions vs Account Positions.

When connecting to multiple data providers NinjaTader will pull all available data from the first connection established however if the first connection does not support the asset NinjaTrader will then look at the second connnection. When running an automated strategy it will be triggered off the first available data source.
