Chart and multiple monitor

Hello NT,

I purchase an additional monitor with the expectation of watching another security (CL) to trade in addition to the NQ. Do I have to create a new workspace to watch NQ on 1 monitor and the CL on the 2nd monitor to view both securities or is it possible to open multiple workspaces?

Hello mrcartel,

Thank you for your post.

You will be able to open multiple charts within one NinjaTrader workspace and then move these windows to the monitor that you would like.

• Control Center > File > New > Chart...
• Configure the chart properties
• Click "OK"
• Move this new chart to your 2nd monitor
• Save the workspace. (Control Center > File > Workspaces > Save Workspace...)

NinjaTrader does support multiple workspaces being open, although you will only be able to view one workspace at a time.

You can quickly switch between open workspaces by pressing SHIFT + F3 on your keyboard.

You can see which workspaces are open from the Control Center > File > Workspaces > Any open workspace will be listed on the bottom of this list. The active workspace will have a check mark next to it.
