new NT can not connect/amp/CQG

    Hello sandman,

    Can you please send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find the Config.xml file at C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7. Please attach it in your email. You can send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Att Jason, new NT can not connect/amp/CQG' in the subject header.

    Thanks Jason. I just re-tried. Now I get the following message:

    Login failed: Failed to receive login message response from SecBuf.

    That's a new one for me. What do I do with that?

    Hello sandman,

    I am not aware of any issues at this time. When I test CQG on my end, I am able to connect successful. I suggest to contact your broker as well and check if they are aware of any issues.

    The following message appears: "Login failed: The FCM you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use NinjaTrader with CQG." I restarted NT but it re-appears.

    I believe this was a problem in the past already and it came down to something at CQG so is nothing new. What to do now? Wait and retry in an hour?

    There is currently an issue with some CQG demo connection. They experience the error below:

    Login failed: The FCM you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use Ninja Trader with CQG.

    Am I correct you experience this error as well? If so, please wait until I have more information regarding the issue.

    It informs the CQG adapter is already running, so it cannot establish the connection. Could it be you have multiple CQG connections setup in NinjaTrader?

    Do you only experience this error or do you experience the error below as well?

    Login failed: The FCM you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use Ninja Trader with CQG.

    No need to send me the Config.xml file anymore. Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with CQG demo connections. I have sent an email to CQG/Amp Futures for clarification. Once there is news regarding the matter, I will let you know.
