    Re-Autoscaling time axis

    Hey folks,

So if I click on the price axis and manually adjust the scale, I can then click the little "F" in the upper right corner of the chart to pop back to Autoscale.

If I manually adjust the scale on the time axis, is there a quick way to then get back to the starting scale, or do I have to instead manually re-adjust the time axis to the initial scaling as I remember it?

    thanks,
    RK

NT 6.5 was so much better at this that you wouldn't even think of unclicking F

      RK,

The F would automatically adjust back to auto-scaling, so it would include all objects on the chart with "autoscale" set to "true". You would need to manually adjust the time and price axis back to what you expected it to be unfortunately here.

Please let me know if I may assist further.

        Adam,

I'm not sure that I understand you.

The "F" appears only when you manually alter the scale on the price axis.

It does not appear if you manually alter the scale on the time axis.

If you alter the scale on both the price and time axis, clicking the "F" will only restore the initial scaling to the price axis.

So as far as I can tell there is no way to get back to the initial scaling of the time axis. That's not a major problem, but it would be convenient to be able to get back to standard scale quickly after zooming out for some context..

        best,
        RK

                laredo,

Autoscale will make your charts include any drawing objects on them that may be outside the chart. It will cause the chart to scale to include them,

The lock option makes it so the drawing object cannot be manually moved.
