SampleMultiInstrument - invalid instrument

In 6.5 does anyone else get the following log entry when selecting a strategy to run?
The strategy 'SampleMultiInstrument' has called the Add() method with an invalid instrument. Either 'ER2 09-07' does not exist in the Instrument Manager or the specified exchange has not been configured.

Hi,

To what instrument is the strategy applied to, ER2 09-07 or ER2 03-08? Please check if either ER2 contract is available in the Instrument Manager and set up with correct parameters such as the exchange. You can find screenshots below.

This is an issue with the strategy itself. Next update rolls the ER2 contract to the current front month.

This has happened again. Even though I have the latest update, the instrument Added is ER2 03-08 which of course is now expired.

This will continue to happen as expiry dates change. Thanks for mentioning the latest change though.

I too am seeing this error message.

Just want to confirm, I don’t trade this instrument, I’m not using this strategy (I can’t find it switched on anywhere) and I’m still getting the message – is that expected behaviour?

If the answer is yes, than I’m assuming it is harmless and it can just be ignored?

It is harmless. It just means the instrument has expired.
