Opening 2 data providers

I am using intraday data from CQG and End of Day data from kinect. I can have one of the two open automatically when I open the application. Is there any way to have both open up when I log on??

Also, does it matter which provider is shown 1st???

Thanks for your post.

Yes, the two data providers can be used together. This is actually the recommended setup for the type of use you've outlined. You'll need to be sure to connect to Kinetick before connecting to CQG to ensure that all daily data comes through the Kinetick API.

When I open Kintick first and then CQG and try to enter an order on the dome I get a message
"Kinetick End of Day (free). Order not accepted since market data is not supported by the connectivety provider" Do I need to open CQG first to fix this?


When I just opened CQG I had checked a box to open the provider automatically when I start NT. Can I have both CQG and Kinetick open automatically when I start NT. If so how. I cant find the check box area.

Unfortunately you cannot submit an order to your Sim account if your primary connection is Kinetick End of day connection. You can however send live order to your brokers account with Kinetick End of day as your primary connection and CQG as your secondary connection.

To trade in Sim account please make CQG as your primary connection.

Unfortunately you cannot configure the Kinetick End of day connection. If you set CQG to auto connect then it will be your primary connection and you have to later connect manually to Kinetick End of day connection.
