IQ Feed Client Version Issue re CME waiver

I see that the IQ Feed Client version that you recommend is still 4.7.1.3. Is it possible to use the latest versions 4.8.1 or higher?
The reason I ask is that if you are using Interactive Brokers as a your broker and want to get the CME Fee waiver then you need version 4.8.1 to access the fee waiver plugin. Inability to use 4.8.1 = no verification for fee waiver purposes = no fee waiver = higher costs.
