Installed NT7 on new W7 Laptop: Two versions installed--which to use?

I've been running NT7 on an older laptop running Vista and one running XP. This evening I installed NT7 on a Windows 7 Thinkpad and now see two NT7 icons on my desktop as well as the same two options available in my program menu: One has "64-bit" in parenthesis and one does not. What is the difference between the two? In particular, what is the functional difference? I obviously know little about the differences, so I would welcome any pointers to further reading.

If it matters, I'll note I've got 4 GB of RAM, running on an i3-370M Processor (3M cache, 2.40 GHz). Also, my broker is Mirus (live account, not simulated) and my feed is provided through Zen-Fire.

Thanks for your post.

NinjaTrader 7 is 64 bit software - when installed on a 64 bit PC, two icons would be added to the desktop:
NinjaTrader 7
NinjaTrader 7 (64-bit)

Which icon is used to start NinjaTrader determines which mode the software operates in - 32 or 64 bit mode.

As your broker/data provider is 64 bit compatible, I'd recommend using the 64 bit version of NinjaTrader as it will grant you access to more of the PC's memory.
