Strategy change in V5

Just switched from V4 to V5. When changing to a differnt strategy, in V5, the instrument doesn't change.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it suppose to be so?

Strategies are not set to an instrument. They are independant. Thats why they are tick based. You can apply them to any instrument.

I found the switchover a bit confusing, but now prefer the tick based strategy as it gives me quicker/greater intellectual control over orders.

I'm still stragling with the switchover. The biggest frustration is the loss of one-click- trading. Tomake a point, count the number of clicks you need in order to change, in the DOM,a target order resting outside the DOM range, and the DOM is in auto-center mode.A scalper's nightmare.

I scalp as well, but heres what I like --

I can click on the order to initially move it, watch the mkt and if I dont like how the mkt is acting, I simply place the order where I want to bail. My initial thinking is that it gives me greater flexibility.
