how to delete data

Is it possible to delete old data in the Ninja Trader ?

For example if I have data of EUR/USD for last 6 months and I decide to purge the system....so that it has only the last month's data

How do I do this ?

Thank you for your post.

Please use the steps I have provided below to delete historical data:

• Disconnect
• Tools
• Historical Data Manager
• Edit tab
• Select the + sign next to $EURUSD to get to the data trees where it displayes each month-->Right mouse click on the month-->Delete
• Close NinjaTrader
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 7
• Open the db folder
• Open the cache folder
• Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
• Open NinjaTrader
• Connect

Deleting data for a specific date

Is there a provision to delete data across all instruments for a specific date?

You can delete historical data in the Historical Data Manager--Edit-tab. Please see the link below.

Unfortunately it is not supported to delete all instruments data for a day in one go.
