    Problem with Show global draw objects

    Since today I have some issues with the EURUSD instrument. Until now everything worked very well and I had not any problem.

    The issue is only with the EURUSD, I tried with 20 different forex instruments without problems.
    I didn’t install any new period typ’s or indicators, also I didn’t change anything on NinjaTrader.

    Screenshots:

    3 + 4 When I open a EURUSD chart with my template and „Show global draw objects – true“ most of my indicators are missing, the indicator icon is not available and also the instrument on the left upper side are missing. When I switch to “Show global draw objects – false” everything looks ok.

    5 When I look at all other instruments (like USDCAD) with “Show global draw objects – true“ everything are ok.

    6 When I switch back from another instrument (like USDCAD) with „Show global draw objects – true“ to EURUSD, then again I'm missing most of the indicators, the indicator icon is not available and on the left upper side the old instrument did not change.

    First I thought the problem are with the bar typ and I spook with the vendor but he also didn't know why I have this problem.

    Then I downloaded some Replay Data from NT and connected to Market Replay and the problem are gone, but with IB Live connection there are still a problem.

    What makes me crazy are the fact that only the EURUSD makes trouble.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please first backup your current indicators into a chart template by right clicking on the chart--> select "Templates> save as"

    Once this has been saved, please go into the chart and remove and then re-add each indicator one at a time and see if you can locate an indicator which is causing this behavior.

    If you cannot isolate this to an indicator, I would next suggest trying this on a standard bar type such as a 1 minute candle and see if it is in fact the bar type that is contributing to issues.

      Hi Matthew

      I did all what you wrote. I even delete all indicators and put an NT indicator on the chart, result are the same. I have no problem with other bar types and other instruments. I can open a RenkoHybrid GBPUSD chart and everything is ok, but when I change to EURUSD then the problem is back.

        Hello,

        Can you please go to Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> select "Reset Instruments".

        Next restart NinjaTrader and test again.

        If that does not improve, can you please close out of the current workspace and test again on a new workspace.

          Ok I did all without change.
          What I did do now is I deleted all EURUSD tick data. But because my data feed is from IB I need to wait a little bit do see what happens.

            It worked, now I did delete the last 2 days of the EURUSD tick data (because until friday everything worked well) and the problem is gone.
            Question now is, what happen, did NT with "Save chart data as historical" something wrong and how can I prevent this?

              Hello Michael,

              Thanks for letting me know. It is likley there was corrupted data saved in real-time which was causing this behavior.

              To prevent this from occurring, you might consider connecting to a secondary data provider who offers historical tick data from an external server.
