save instrument settings for a chart?

I have a constant volume bar chart set up that I would like to update with a different instrument (based on what is currently being traded). The volume for each instrument is different, though. So say I have it populated with CL using 500 volume, and then I populate it with ES. It will automatically use the same 500 for the volume, but I'd like it to be 2000 for ES without having to update it manually. Is there a way to fix the volume setting based on which instrument is currently entered?

    Thanks,
    p

    Hello p_trader,

    Unfortunately this is not possible.

You can quickly switch the interval by typing the new interval. However since you use a custom bar type, this will not work. If you use the default Volume interval, you would type 2000V after you switched to the ES instrument. More information can be found at the link below under 'How to change a Data Series'.
