Dollar Value Charting Tool

Hi,

Is there a charting tool similar to Line Tool that will show the dollar value between two points or levels on a chart? Several other charting vendors provide this feature.

Thanks for your post and I am happy to assist you.

You can use the Scale draw object to show the dollar value between 2 points.

Please go to your Drawing Tool drop down menu and select Ruler which will change your cursor to a pen. Place the pen on your chart where you would like the measurement to begin and left mouse click once, Move the pen to where you would like the measurement to end and left mouse click again. Now move the pen to where you would like the information box placed and left mouse click again.

Not seeing dollar value

I am not seeing the dollar value when I use the ruler on the chart between two points.

Am I missing something?

The first 2 anchor point determines the values. Please make sure the Y anchor points do not have the same values (i.e. they are not straight)

Thanks Joydeep, I thought the $ value was displayed not the point range.

I can see the point range.

The $ value would be very helpful, so I don't have to find out how much the tick/$ value is and multiply.

You got my hopes up That would be a great feature if you ever do it and I don't think it would be that hard to do.
