Importing daily EURUSD forex from MetaStock

I have manually created EURUSDD symbol in NT.

I try to import this from a MS master file with only this instrument.

I get the following error message SEE ATTACHEMENT

Hello Sylvestro,

Can you please perform an uninstall/reinstall of NinjaTrader and check if the error remains.

Uninstall NinjaTrader 7 via Windows Control Panel-->Programs and Features.

Clear your browser cache and download and install NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.9 from the link below.

Thanks, I can import now.
But another little problem shows up.
I am importing EURUSD forex. So, I first create a master instrument with the same name as used in Metastock; here it is EURUSDD (for daily data).
Still the import creates a stock EURUSDD and not the forex created EURUSDD forex instrument.
I do not see what I am doing wrong.

What happens if you delete the manually created EURUSDD instrument and perform the import once more. Does it create an EURUSDD stock again?

If so, I suggest to export the historical data for the EURUSDD stock as per the instructions at the link below.

Delete the EURUSDD stock in the Instrument Manager and add the EURUSDD forex instrument again.

Import the exported data for the EURUSDD forex instrument.

If I delete it and do the import once more, it creates the stock again.

What worked was using an existing instrument EURUSD with the import part also named EURUSD.
So, for now I am saved.
