Unable to connect to barchart.com

while creating a new connecction, the error says invalid userid pls contact support@ninjatrader.

Hello kkjalan,

Can you please tell me for what connectivity provider you are creating a connection.

The error message you refer occurs for BarChart connections. It indicates the BarChart username and password are incorrectly entered or invalid.

I suspect you try to create a different connection. Can you please make sure you set Provider to the connectivity provider you will use and check if you can get connected.

hello i have same problem with new data feed connection, provider set to Barchart.com and then i wrote my barchart user name and password and pushed next, and always getting that i wrote invalid user name and to contact ninjatrader

EDIT i have trial version but i hope its not blocked is it?

Hello JuroE39,

Your BarChart username needs to start with 'NT' or else you cannot use the BarChart login credentials in NinjaTrader. If this is the case, please contact BarChart and inform them that you like to use your subscription with them in NinjaTrader. They will provide new login information which allows you to connect to BarChart in NinjaTrader. You can find a BarChart connection guide at the link below.
