Message: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Anyone know a solution to this problem? I lost my connection to Gain demo (SIM) and then could not reconnect. I was using the NinjaTrader data source, but the Gain source also doesn't work. The message that appears says:
Gain: Failed to connect to the Rates interface: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

This seems similar to another problem discussed on the forum for a different broker. The fix there was to get a particular version of NT. Is this a problem which can be fixed with a parituclar version of NT?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

This seems to be a message coming from the brokerage end, but I am not sure since I have never seen this one before.

This message looks similar to one I was getting when I switched between computers and ended up with the same account being run from more than one computer.

Is it possible that you have another computer with another concurrent connection to the same account?
