    Remove weekend gap in chart

When I create a new chart using a template, there is not a big gap in the chart over the weekend. When I create a new chart from scratch there is a big gap over the weekend. How do I get rid of the gap when creating a new chart from scratch?

    Hello Shane,

    Thank you for your post.

Please ensure you are using a session template which excludes the weekend, such as the US CME Index Futures ETH or CME US Index Futures RTH session template. Using a session template such as the Default 24/7 would include a gap.

I have 2 data series (same instrument) on the chart and you're fix doesn't help. No problems with 1 data series.

        Hello,

Are both data series set to use the same session template? Please double check both added and tell me exactly what session template you are using for both data series.

Can you please email your current workspace file so I can test further?

To save a copy of your workspace, please go to File--> Workspace--> Save "Workspace As..." and Save this workspace with the name "Support".

You will find your workspace under (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\workspaces\Support.xml

Please attach this workspace XML document to an email addressed to support[at]ninjatrader[dot] with Attn Matthew and a reference to this thread in the message and I can look into this further.

It must have been a temporary glitch, it's working now, thanks.

I am facing the same problem. No problem with 1 data series. Once I have 2 data series, the weekend gap appear.

Is there any solution to this?

What session template do you have applied to both data series?

Is the gap over the weekend, or is the gap over the recent periods that the markets were closed for the holiday?

If it is holiday hours, there is no holiday session handling built into NinjaTrader at this time. This will result in a gap in data when using more than one data series.

Both are using session template : Default 24/7; 15min time frame

The gap is over the weekend.

When I create the chart with just 1 data series (Capture1), no gap. When I add the second data series (Capture2), the weekend gap came.

                      Hello kalim,

                      Thanks for your reply.

Please use the Default 24/5 session template to not display the weekend.
