unknow instruments

so im trying ou nt and was wondering why some instruments load to charts just fine and some dont load at all and i get an error message that says:


error on loading chart data for ^DJTA Nyse unable to load historical data unknow instrument.

Kinetick EOD. If that is why do u know where I can find a list of the instruments avaiable?

Not all instruments would be supported here on the free connection, however you can get a subscription and add a variety of instruments to your plan.

I would suggest emailing Kinetick as you can then get a more definitive answer as to what symbols/exchanges they offer.

I am also facing the problems Error on loading chart data for 'ES 06-12 Cme': Unable to load historical data: unknown instrument.
Any Solutions?

Hello Antony,

The error indicates you have the ES instrument configured for the Cme exchange. This needs to be the Globex exchange.

Can you please disconnect all connections in NinjaTrader and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and check if you are able to load historical data without error.
