I’ve had enough CQG data gap problems. Are there any data providers that the historical data comes directly from their servers or are they all like CQG where only live data is from the actual data provider and NT copies that to NT historical data servers?

Unfortunately there was an outage with our NinjaTrader historical data server that records live data from the CQG for use as historical data. We have restored the servers and data is recording again at 6:30 EST this morning.

Our IT staff will look into the possibility of backfilling data with this weekend’s maintenance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you are looking for an additional data provider for historical data I recommend using Kinetick which has redundant servers in place: (Our Preferred Data Feed Service Built Specifically for NinjaTrader 7) which provides historical Tick, Minute and Daily data for Equities, Futures and Forex.
