Unbelievable problem with NT and CQG

Hello,

At this time the root issue has not been identified.

Our IT staff is looking into this and working with all involved parties to identify the solution.

As of right now the servers are restarted and recording again.

If the problem shows up again I am sure you will hear about it on the board. But if it does not lift its ugly head again, then everything will be quiet. Thus it would be good if you hear from the IT guys that the root problem has been isolated and fixed to then post something to that effect here on the board. I for one would appreciate it.

We are working on this with CQG on the data recording on our historical data servers. Progress is being made and this will most likely result in a new CQG API and a new NinjaTrader release. Unfortunately I do not have an expected release date at this time.

Hi Brett,

I have a suggestion.

It would be great if you guys can place a pop up when someone first open up their ninjatrader platform to inform them of issue/problems for the day. Just like how you guys inform traders of the futures expiry or 'check out our youtube channel'.

Specify which data provider and what the problem is.

I spent so much time trying to rectify it yesterday until I found this thread.

After, send another pop up when the issue/problem is fixed.

We will look into adding such a system.
