Unbelievable problem with NT and CQG

    Has this affected all of NT historical data like for Zen Fire as well? Or just CQG? Is this a CQG problem? Or a NT problem? Or just a server problem?
    How on earth are we supposed to even get OHLC for Sunday?

      You can probably get OHLC with the EOD Kinetick feed if that's all you need, depending on the contract. (if you mean OHLC for the day)

        Hello,

        This was just the CQG data servers that were affected and the NinjaTrader data servers that record CQG data had an issue that needed to restart the PC to get data recording again.

        The server team is looking into why this occurred as to try and prevent this from occurring in the future.

          Can not get Sunday OHLC from Kinetic end of day free, I d/c cqg, connect kinect end of day free, load the chart, and its the same.

            And also how come there is not thousands of NT with CQG users on here asking why?
            I find that odd.

              Hello Mike_32,

              Unfortunately you cannot load Sunday's OHLC data when connected to the Kinetick EOD connection.

              You could manually add historical daily data in the Historical Data Manager-->Edit-tab. Please see the link below for more information.

                Hi Jason or Brett,

                Seems to be the same problem this morning (22 March European time) as was the case a couple of days ago.

                See attached screenshot of my charts.

                There is a gap of data on the charts which of course totally destroys the accuracy of the charted moving averages which if not corrected means I have just lost the morning trading session in full because I now need to wait for 2 1/2 hours for the moving averages to catch up (I am a trend trader).

                But as this same problem seems to have occurred two days ago already it would be good to dig into this and really find out why it happened, and get it fixed once and for all.

                PS: I just checked something: It seems only 6E is affected. 6A, 6J, 6B and 6S seem to be fine.

                PPS: After I checked the other instruments (6A, 6J, 6B, 6S and they were fine) I then went back to 6E. See attached image. While I was off 6E, it killed the data it had recorded and started up the chart totally anew once again. This is a serious corruption.

                Help please!

                    Hey guys,

                    I'm facing the same problem today as well!! NT and CQG.

                    I thought Mon's gap was just a freak incident, so I ignored it and waited for the indicators to catch up before trading.

                    It happened again today, and it got me worried. I started googling and found this thread.

                    I have 6E, 6B, 6S and ES up. 6B and 6S are working fine for both range and time charts.

                    6E and ES are not working. Price stops at 11pm est/ 11am Singapore time. It starts when I turn my ninja on but it does not 'save' itself. When I restart, the first print will be at the time after the restart. Does it mean that I can't off my computer from now on?

                    I have clicked both 'repair DB' and 'reset DB'. The range chart worked normally after this. But when I clicked reload historical data, it gets screwed again. I tried the whole process again to at least get the range charts up, but it does not work now.

                    My fellow trader in my office is also facing the same problem.

                    I spoke to my broker and they said they can't help and that the problem is with Ninjatrader.

                    It seems like I won't be able to trade today till I get this fixed.

                    Ninjatrade, please help us.

                      I had the same problem 3 times this week. Today is the same problem. My indicators are wrong and my trades was wrong. I just descovered. I have NT and CQG.

                        Hello. One hour has passed and there has been no response from NT Support. Is anybody there?

                        Can someone from NT Support minimally please acknowledge that the messages have been read and the problem is being looked into?

                          Hello all,

                          Unfortunately there is an issue with our historical data server again. It is not recording data since about 9:50 PM EST yesterday, so there is no historical data available after that time for certain instruments including the 6E 06-12 and ES 06-12.

                          I have reported the issue to development. Once there is news regarding the matter, I will let you know.

                            Sounds like the Server team did not complete their job 2 days ago because they obviously did not find and fix what happened. Anyway, I hope someone is getting it fixed for real this time. But as it means a serious 2 day loss of revenue for me sofar I have to look for alternatives.

                              The issue has been fixed - the historical data server is recording data again starting at 6:46 AM EDT.

                              Unfortunately you will see a gap between 11:50 PM (yesterday) and 6:45 AM EDT.

                              We will look into the possibility to restore the data next weekend's maintenance.

                                Thanks. Has it been fixed so that it will not recur, or is it only a temporary fix? In other words, was the real underlying problem located and addressed once and for all?
