Forex inacurate data with IB, 0.5 pips decimal display??

Dear Ninjatrader Support,

The problem below has been resolved.

I was just wondering - is it ok to leave the pip value to one tenth of a pip instead of half pip for Interactive Brokers? What would be the consequences of doing so?

I want it to display one-tenth-pip because that's the default setting for MetaTrader platforms and most ECN platforms like MB Trading.

Dear Sir/Madam,

When connecting Ninjatrader with my Interactive Brokers account, the FOREX chart data does not show the decimal place after the pips - (eg, 0.1 or 0.5 of a pip).

This often leads to very bad charting data on 1min to 5min charts.

I'm using the Default 24/7 template.....

Could you please tell me how I can see more decimal places after the PIP amount so I can see 0.5 pips as it is the minimum increment by default Interactive Broker terms?

Hi,

I have another question - "how do i save the default trade Quantity value" in Ninjatrader everytime I close and re-open the program?

eg, I like to keep the default trading size to be $100,000 - which is 0.1mil displayed in Ninjatrader. But when i save the template and then re-open ninjatrader, one chart always shows the quantity as 1 and the other as 0.01mil every single time no matter how much i've saved it at 100,000??

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately there is no way to save the order quantity in the order entry window at this time as it will always change to the default value when you load the chart. I know this has been submitted to our development team as a suggestion for further enhancement to the software, so hopefully they will be able to incorporate this into a future release of the software.
