MBTrading demo - NinjaTrader 7 demo

Hi there - my first post here.

I've been trying to get the MBTrading demo - NinjaTrader 7 demo to connect and have followed the instructions to the tee with regards to the information provided on this link http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...nnection-Guide

Upon attempting to connect, Ninja to MBT, I keep getting the same error message
Login failed: MBT Navigator login failed, please check username/password.

I am using Ninja Trade 7.0.1000.9 (32 bit) with MBTrading 11.8.0.45 (uninstalled) then used MBTrading 11.9.0.37 (uninstalled) and reinstalled MBTrading 11.8.0.45. I have disabled the firewall and virus scanner, have also gone into safe mode and still the same problem persists.

Can you help me find the solution?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

As you'd imagine, a typo in the username/password field is the most common reason we'd see this message. Please:

• Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
• Restart NinjaTrader
• Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

If the issue remains, please contact me with a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com.


In that message, please include both a link to this forum thread and a copy of your Config file.
You'll find that file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder.

Hi Kyle,

No it was not a typo issue, because I repeated the process several times. In all strangeness its managed to connect. This time I decided to turn Ninja on first and before I could turn on MBT - it connected.

All is well - thanks anyway mate!
