cross hair measurement

In metatrader when you hold left mouse click with cross hair you can measure pip distance.

How you do something equivalent with ninjatrader ?

All this did for me was draw a line with an empty box; how does this tell me the number of points??

To assist you further can you please post a screenshot of the scenario you are witnessing.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Thanks for the screenshot.

If you try changing the background color of the chart then are you able to get the data.

• Right click on the chart
• In the context menu click on Properties
• In the Chart Properties dialog set the field "Color for Background" to say White

measure the distance as with metatrader ?

There is no ruler in right click.

blazer, that's unfortunately not possible in our 6.5 release, the ruler was introduced with the NT7 version.
