    why cant i trade July 12 6e?
    or Dec 11 6e?

    Thanks for writing in and I am happy to assist you.

    You cannot trade the 6E Dec 11 contact because it has expired. The 6E July 2012 contract does not exists. http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/fx/g...s_futures.html

      so why is my DOM offering me expired contacts despite everything i have tried to get rid of it
      why is instrument manager offering me non existent contracts?

        Hello Poeds,
        On rollover you have to update the instrument list.
        • Select the Tools menu within the Control Center followed by the Instrument Manager menu item
        • Left mouse click on the expired contract in the list to the left within the Instrument Manager window
        • Press the > button to remove the expired contract from the instrument list
        • Press the < bu
        tton to add the current contract to the instrument list

          6e dec 11 doesnt appear in the instrument list but does appear in the drop menu on the DOM

            Hello poeds,
            The instrument is set as default in the SuperDom.
            • Open the SuperDom and select any active instrument.
            • Right click on the SuperDom.
            • In the context menu click on Properties
            • In the SuperDom properties dialog click on Set Default button.
            • Click Ok.
