Fib Retracements and Extensions

I'm trying to change the color and positioning of the drawing tools but it doesn't accept a default - goes back to the original settings when I use it again. How do I change these? Thanks.

To set default settings to the draw objects please follow the below steps:

• Select the Draw object and right click on it.
• In the context menu click on Properties...
• In the draw object property dialog set the appropriate settings.
• Click on SetDefault button.

Thank you - I was using the default on left click.

Actually still doing the same thing - I click on default, but it goes back to regular settings. I'm clicking the "default" next to Template.

I don't see the "Manage Template" option when I open Properties.

Hi JerryA,

Does the Properties window you're looking at include settings specific to the Fib - color and percentage options and so forth? I'm wondering if you're looking at a different properties window here.

Fib Settings

I have a question regarding Fib settings.


I open the fib properties and change some of the percentages. How can I save those settings permanently in such a way that whenever I draw a fib next time I want to see my custom percentages?

Hello JerryA,
After you have set the color and other properties, to set it as default please follow the below steps.

• Right click on the Fibonacci properties dialog
• In the context menu click on Manage templates....
• In the Manage template dialog select Default in the Name drop down menu
• Click Save

when i select all charts on a fib extension setting with the text to 'far right" the line appears on all charts but the per cent fib (50% example) is no there?
