IBGateway Connection

Is it possible to connect to the IB Gateway instead of the IB TWS?

The TWS needs to disconnect at least once every 24 hours meaning that there is extra work required in running automated trading strategies. According to IB however, the IBGateway does not need to be restarted making it a better option for automated trading.

Unfortunately, the IB Gateway is not supported at this time.

However, our Development Team is aware of this feature and I will forward your suggestion to add support.
