I created a custom indicator. Using the indicator, I created a strategy.
My challenge is this: As the indicator is computationally intensive, my NT typically hangs if I run the strategy from the strategy tab and plot the indicator on a separate chart.
Is there any function that I can insert into the strategy code to plot the indicator within the chart tab in the strategy --> real time performance screen? So that my indicator is calculated once only and is used for both strategy and for plotting.
Any ideas?
