Adding the S & P 500 Index

Can the index be added? If so pls explain what is nessasary in the instrument editor.

Hello ashish,

You can add the S&P 500 via the Instrument Manager. Please go to Tools-->Instrument Manager, select "Index" under Type and click search. The S&P 500 should be listed in the available indices, highlight the instrument and click the arrow pointing to the left to add it to your instrument list.

If the S&P 500 is not available by default please enter all parameters as in the screenshots.

Hello,

This will not work with Zen Fire, as they only provide data for Futures, and this is an Index.
