Hello,

I use NT on 2 computers, one Live-license and one sim.

The "older" PC works well with NT and all programs, the newer PC in general with all programs too. But with NT on the newer computer it takes such a long time when compiling strategies and loading workspaces.

Can you please inform what does have impact on this? Number of templates, workspaces, instruments? Even when closed maybe? Does it make sense to delete older datafiles.ntd (year 2010)?
What else might be the reason or what can be done to make it faster (or not so slow).

Many things can affect this, such as COBC setting, number of indicators, etc.

The no. of strategies has an impact? As there appear the error-message when compiling a strategy and the error is in another strategy so I assume that all strategies are checked for errors when compiling, no? So, the more strategies the longer compiling needs?

All strategies are compiled together at the same time. If there is an error in one it will come up when compiling any other because they all must be compiled into the same .dll file.

Yes, I wrote this, no? The question in this concern I made is if it takes more time to compile when there are more strategies?

Yes, it will take longer the more strategies you have though it shouldn't be a whole lot more unless you have many, many strategies.

60 is too many?

I don´t need 60 for live-trading;-)

but testing, testing, testing. (and you know when working with addrenko you have to define dataseries each instrument)

I don't think its an issue, but keep in mind it will obviously be slower than only having a handful.
