Hi,

I put together a crossover strategy that should send an email everytime a crossover happens. unfortunately this is the error message I get instantly on my email:
"Error on loading chart data for 'JOYG Default': Unable to load historical data: unknown instrument"
please assist thanks

So I may investigate this matter further, please answer a few questions:

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

HI,

I got the issue sorted, the mails were going to my spam box.
I guess while putting the strategy together, when asked under email to/from emaill adress, i was putting my email address on both sides. i think that was causing the error messages.
im using ninja 7, with Kinetick feeds.

These errors are usually caused by your ISP or router blocking SMTP port 25.
To bypass this issue you may want to use your own e-mail provider, to use your own provider please visit the forum link below for further information.
