No chart data using simulation feed, but SuperDOM data works

In Ninjatrader 7 when I successfully connect to the simulated data feed I am getting price data for ES GLOBEX and the other instruments, and can trade through the static SuperDOM, but when I try to pull up a chart that is linked I get no intraday chart data for the same instrument. I am just using a blank chart with no indicators. How can I get chart data to show up?

If I login into my real account through ninjatrader using IB as the connection, I get intraday chart data fine.

In the log I see this error for one of my other charts that has some indicators on it:

Error on plotting indicator 'RegressionChannel'. Please check the 'OnBarUpdate' or the 'Plot' method: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
I am not sure if this relates to the issue with not getting any data in simulation mode.
