Question on virtual server vs stop buy or sell order.

    1) For futures if I put a buy stop order into Ninja Trader, and then turn it off before the order is activated, will it still be filled, or do I need to have the program running during the night to have this order filled?

    2) If I need to have the program running during the night to have my order filled, will a private virtual server work? And do you have any suggestions on how to set this up and/or what vendors to use?
