Recover from deleting the SP500 list

    Hello,

I wanted to delete a symbol in the SP500 that is no longer valid and I deleted the whole list.

Is there a way to recover that?

Also, is there a way to quickly create a list of about 1000 symbols without selecting each one and clicking the left arrow button?

    Thank you very much

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

You can download an S+P 500 instrument list from here: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...mentLists.html

If creating a new list you will have to add the instruments one at a time.

Thanks for your reply. If I make a custom list on one computer can I export and then import that list into another computer?

Unfortunately not at this time. You could copy over the database on PC1 --> PC2. This would of course overwrite any data on PC2.

is there a way to work directly with the database to import symbols into a list?

Could you give me the method/structure of the DB so I could maybe tackle the problem that way?

Direct work on the DB is neither recommended or supported.
