How can I tell if my internet connection is sufficient for trading? Are there minimum requirements?

Most common broadband solutions offered by ISPs are sufficient for trading.

Of course, this depends on your level of activity trading, how much data you are requesting, and if there are any other devices on your home or office network that are using internet bandwidth.

We can offer a little insight to your current internet speed.

Can you offer more specifics such as minimum download and minimum upload speed requirements?

Unfortunately, I unsure to the specifics of your set-up which includes your trading needs, any other devices/computers are connected to your office or home network, or other factors to network activity that you may experience while trading.

If you are able to run the SpeedTest.net instructions in post #2 and share your results, I can offer more insight.

Additionally, it is possible that some other Support Forum users can offer any advice or their experience with different internet speeds.
