From Optimization to Live

I am looking for a way to get the parameters I have found in a Walk Forward Optimization into a chart's Strategy so I can trade it. At the moment I have to manually do it which is both cumbersome and prone to errors - lots of inputs.

Secondly, How can I save a WFO template so I can re-use it. I know I can save the results but have to re-invent the wheel every time I want to revisit a particular strategy and market. I can only save a "default" which is just one set of inputs.

You can save multiple instances of your strategy with different names and set defaults for each that are different. If you go to the editor > right click > save as, then you can save as a new name and it will update the code to match.

As far as your second request, unfortunately there is no way to export these settings to a new strategy instance. I will suggest this to development as a future enhancement if you would like.

Can't find the clicks to re-save the strategy with the different settings. How pls?

If you go to Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Load your strategy, then, go to the editor you can right click and select "Save as".

If you are using the strategy wizard, then you need to click "View Code" to access the editor.
