ATM Strategy

Hello,

I use the Shift + F3 keys to toggle between various charts. The problem I'm having is.......quite often when I'm viewing a chart and toggle to another one, my Chart Trader ATM Strategy sets itself to "None" leaving me with no SL or PT when I place a trade on the chart. My question..................is there a way to lock the ATM Strategy until I physically change it???

Thanks for the forum post.

Just so that I understand completely is this happening every time after a workspace change or is this happening random?

Any steps you could provide that you do that causes it to go to None?

Hi Brett,

It's random but it happens more often than not. Nothing I'm doing that I'm aware of. It also happens on the DOM. I'm using the current version of NT7.

No I removed that one got a post mixed up thanks for repost.

As far as your issue, I would need to get something reproducible in this case. The only thing I can think of is somehow the up or down arrow or scroll wheel is being used with the superDOM selected. This will change the ATM strategy selected and would not be related to workspace change however.

Can you please keep watch to make sure this isnt happening and please let me know the exact steps you take next time this happens.

When you save a chart template with chart trader turned on, doesn't NT7 also save the ATM strategy??? When I change chart templates the ATM strategy sets back to "none".

Ah there we go, unfortunately this does not save to the template and loading a fresh would do this.

I will let development know and ask that they review this.
