Historical data from CSV

hi i'm also having trouble importing data into NInja....

my file is named $EURUSD.Last.txt and the lines look like this:

20070606;1.3504;1.3538;1.3485;1.3504;1234567891
20070607;1.3504;1.3513;1.3423;1.3432;1234567891
20070608;1.3432;1.3435;1.332;1.3362;1234567891
20070611;1.3362;1.3375;1.3332;1.3356;1234567891
20070612;1.3356;1.337;1.3312;1.3316;1234567891
20070613;1.3316;1.3316;1.3264;1.331;1234567891
20070614;1.331;1.3325;1.3279;1.3305;1234567891
20070615;1.3305;1.3388;1.3306;1.3378;1234567891
20070618;1.3378;1.3419;1.3376;1.3413;1234567891

(the last column is volume for which i entered random numbers to match the Ninjatrader export format

attached is my actual text file: can someone tell me why it doesn't work?

Hello kelvinlau2,

Unfortunately the file contains invalid values in many lines. Illegal close and open values are present in the file. Please see the error messages in the screenshot.

I followed your instructions on importing some 3rd party .txt data, but I cannot see any of my data files after I start the import. I can see them when I access my hard drive outside of NT, but not during the Import function of the Historical Data Manager. Any ideas?

Can you please reboot your computer and check again.

If the issue remains, can you please send me one of the .txt files so I can test it on my end. You can send the file to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason, Historical data from CSV' in the subject header.

If the file is larger than 4 MB, please zip the file first. Right click the file and select Send to-->Compressed (zipped) folder. Subsequently attach the .zip file in your email.

If the file is still larger than 4 MB, please send me the file using https://www.sendspace.com.
