    Login failed - problem

    hello,

    i have a login problem.

    first of all. i was unable to run tws. i clicked on login and nothing happened. i called the ib service and they said i should write a 2 behind c:jts. now i am able to run tws but NT says:

    login failed: ib adapter message loop. no possibility to connect because the purpose pc deny connection. fe80:e868:cbd:1981:78af%11:7496

    any ideas what i can do.

    unitrade, what IB TWS and NT version are you using here please? We would officially recomment using NT7 R8 in combination with TWS 917.8 -

    What host setting setting are using in your NT IB account connection setup?

    Can you please try using localhost here and then recheck?

      since yesterday i use 917.8. everything was fine till today in the morning.

      when i use localhost i get the message.

      (login failed: ib adapter.....) 1:7496

              tws: 921.5
              nt: 7.0.1000.8

              i have two ib account. the one discussed below is no problem to connenct.
              but my new account makes problems. i dont understand this because the only thing changes is the login name.

              need your help.

                Is the error message the same as in your old post starting this thread?

                Do you see this as well, if logging manually into your TWS first and then connecting in NT to it?

                It might also be helpful to upgrade to NT7 R9 and TWS 921.5 and then to recheck the connection behavior seen.
