Commission - Forex units

Hi,

What you mean by units in Currency Commission? Is it quantity = 1 or quantity = 100 000 or else? Please explain.

Hello kucharek,

For a live account this is set with the broker and your account. Some may expect quantities expressed in units, like 100,000 for a standard lot. Others will expect quantity submitted like 1,2,3 that will then be mapped according to what your account is set for.

In NinjaTrader commissions, quantity is what is used.

In NinjaTrader simulated account, PnL is based on a standard lot of 100,000 units. See here for additional considerations with trading FOREX in NinjaTrader:

I want to specify commission for backtesting - 48 USD per every 1 000 000 in base currency. If I understand right I shall type 4,8E-05 (0,000048) in "Commission Levels -> Commission". Please confirm.

Yes, that seems to work well here. Attached screenshot showing some results of these settings.
