Hello,
How does "by account size" work?

I tried to backtest @SMACrossOver system on ES-03.12 with Account size = 100 which, as i understand, means "use in each trade $100" (correct me if i'm wrong).

Margin value for ES symbol in Instrument Manager is set to $5000 and in Simulator Tab in Options Margin/Unit is set to $10000.

Despite the margin values, I still can see trades for ES with 1 contract per order.

Is it ok? Why does NT allows to take trades?

Thanks for the note.

Account Size means that if you have a 100 dollar account what is the maximum size I can use for this instrument I'm trading.

You will always trade at least one contract with this setting.

So, it doesn't matter what account size and margin values are set, NT will also trade 1 contract is the size of an account too small to take a trade. Am I correct?

How can trade, say 10% of my account? Only from coding this condition in strategy?

Correct.

The only way to do that is by doing your own internal calculations in the strategy and using:
